Hello from North Carolina

Right now, I have 2 hens. An Australorp and a Sussex. I have had up to 30 - Old English Game, Bantams, Leghorns, and Dominickers. My favorite was a Rhode Island Red rooster.
I enjoy the peacefulness of raising chickens. I also appreciate the gifts -eggs!
I garden near their coop and spend time with both together. I was searching for ideas to improve my run when I found "Backyard Chickens" around 10 years ago. It's a great place to get any information I need about raising chickens.
