Hello from North Texas

Howdy back to you,

We are in the process of building a coop and starting to research which type of chickens to purchase for our area. I would like a mixture of friendly, pretty and egg laying variety. We live in North Texas close to Greenville in Hunt county. We are so excited and I am just now starting to learn about everything chicken 101. I am loving this site and learning so much. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Happy chickens make great egg laying chickens or at least that is my thoughts.
