Welcome welcome from Texas! What kind of chickens do you have now? I love guinea pigs they are so sweet and make such cute noises! I have 3 dogs and a cat as well, what breed are yours? I'm an animal lover and it appear so are you! How is the weather in Norther U.K. right now?

I have Black Rocks, Isa Brown, Marans and Cream legbars also Araucuana cross some mixtures plus the Silkies plus one Welsummer. My oldest hen is Hannah who is around 5 years old and escaped a fox attack, she still has the scars on her legs to prove it. Hannah was a rescue who came with 10 chicks, she is part bantam and no idea what else. I have a Cavalier King Charles who was also a rescue, sadly she has Syringia Myelia (sp) and do not think I will have her by the end of summer. I also have two Lhaso Apsos, one big black cat and a Siamese kitten who has been badly treated, she is still very, very scared of hands.I am hoping to hatch out some Laken Velders and Splash Marans. Wish me luck.

Colie, SM is basically because of bad breeding, it is a condition where the skull is too small for the brain and causes lots of neurological problems as well as pain when it gets really bad. Because breeders want a certain attribute in a dog (whatever) in this case a very domed skull, they use dogs with the smallest heads and eventually you end up with this problem.I love nature and animals passionately and don't mind some people either...lol
