Went to an exotic animal auction and came home with 2 Bantam Black Double-Combed Trios. Since it is just my husband and me I figured small eggs would do fine and I always wanted to get into banties.
This isn't the first jaunt into chickens. Have raised them since I was 12. I am now just about 50.
Hope to visit with you all at one time or another.

Howdy from Texas. My grandparents raised my mom and brothers up in Ocean Falls, BC. Do you know where that is? I love hearing the stories of her childhood. It used to be a "happening" little town, but the paper mill shut down and I don't think there is a lot there now.
