(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I just got my first last week. He was a rescue, the owners didn't want him because of his cross beak.

One, but will be getting more very soon!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I think he's part Silkie.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They have such cute personalities!

Horseback riding, sewing.

I'm Kacie, aka docdetective. I'm currently taking care of a chicken that has a cross beak. I'm now in love with chickens and will soon be adding more to keep him company! I have two horses and two cats.
