I came across this site while looking at chicken breeds and trying to decide which ones would be best for me. I live in a suburban environment and I want some home grown eggs. I will be looking at coop designs as well

@Dstu, I don't know what characteristics that you are looking for, but I have Orpingtons, Australorps, Black Stars, Easter Eggers, New Hampshire and Rhode Island Reds, plus some barnyard mixes that I have mixed.
I have really no coop plans, but one of my coops looks like a church and another coop that is built out of pallets, which used to be a place that I stored hay in.
