I've had 5 backyard chickens for a year or so now. One of them turned out to be a Rooster and we've had our share of trials with getting Mr. Egg to be nice to everyone. Seems to be working, it's pretty rare he pulls his attitude out anymore. I've used this site many many times over the past year to learn and get answers to questions along the way.
This spring my husband decided he wanted to raise another bunch of pheasants, so in my process of ordering his 200 pheasants, I found a Barnyard Special at the hatchery. I now have 2 geese, 6 ducks and 3 turkeys roaming around and love it
Thanks for all the advice and stories shared on here. I find myself looking on here for one thing or another several times a week. Just thought maybe it was time to officially join the site.
