About me. I am brand new to chickens. My husband and I decided this would be great experience for our 3 and 5 year old sons. I have dogs, cats, geckos, and a heard of bull elk in the front yard. I will be getting my babies on the 18th. The coop we are going to build is for 4-5 chickens, I am getting 7 Rhode Island Reds to allow for some to not make it. I am getting the brooder ready for them to come home. So far my lurking here has provided me with a lot of information and I know I will need more.
