I am new to chickens and to BYC but I have referenced the site many times throughout my flock planning and wanted to say thank you all for all of your helpful posts.
My husband, our toddler daughter, and I have 7 purebred and/or mixed breed chicks we are raising right now and they are awesome! They are from a barnyard flock that is allowed to interbreed, so we don't know what breeds they are for sure or what sex they are yet (only one week old). I'm sure I will be posting photos and asking for guesses. Whatever they end up being I'm sure we'll work with
