Chirping
Hi all, completely new to this forum thing, but trying to expand and break out of my shell.
We have had our Chickens for a year now. (but have been around them all my life). We started last year with some chicks from TSC, got what was left in the bantam bin (9 all together), 3 New Hampshire mini's, and 2 Buff Orpingtons. Plus 10 meat chicks, which turned out to be great! and are raising 50 of those this year for ourselves and family. This Spring I have added a total of 36 more layers! I may be slightly obsessed. (giving us a total of 50 layers)
In addition to the chickens, we have 4 horses, 4 Scottish Highland cows, 4 goats, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
I would like to learn all that I can, I enjoy all my animals and always wanting to keep them as healthy as possible and I like learning new ways of doing things.
any questions or if you just want to chat, I love talking about animals!
Thanks!
