Hey all!!
So happy to have found this community
Currently I have no chickens, but hopefully in the next year or two I will. I grew up in the country with a small flock of Rhode Island Reds and Plymouth Rocks that I remember very well. I loved talking to them as a little kid, and hope to introduce my own two kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) to the life and love of chickens. We have a lovely garden that we built two years ago (my avatar) and are slowly becoming more and more self-sufficient; chickens are the natural next step in that process.
Looking forward to meeting you all and seeing your beautiful birds, coops and eggs!
Cheers,
Katrina
