Iāve had chickens going on a year now. We started with eight pullets. Lost one to our dog and another to a raccoon when she got out our fenced yard. She dug under the fence to explore the woods. We got four more ā pulletsā from TSC but those turned out to be Roos.
We had to cull two and we kept the other two, which are light Brahmas.
Weād planned on adding more pullets this year but TSC sold out so we ordered online from two different hatcheries (thanks to reviews and recommendations from BYC). We have a third order waiting for silkies to come in stock before I send it off.

Meet some of my girls below, Sienna, Della (for any Raymond Burr-Perry Mason fans), and Sunshine. The other two not pictured are Cinnamon and Bertha. Our Roos are General and Stryker (husband was AD Army).
