Hey everyone! Brett here from Autumn Valley Acres in NW Missouri.
I'm proud to say that I've been raising and showing poultry since 2002 (I was 13 at the time). My family started out as just a typical egg production hobby farm but I soon decided I wanted to try to raise show birds. I've had just about any breed and variety you can think of all the way down the alphabet.
Currently (Now that I'm an adult of almost 31, I'm a huge kid at heart) we are current members of the JBBA (Japanese Bantam Breeders Association) and have started our breeding pens. I've lost count at how many we currently have as we hatched a bunch this spring. In addition to our Japanese, we have a house of layers of various breeds, Bourbon Red Turkeys and Saxony Ducks. (Although not poultry we also breed registered Nigerian Dwarf goats)
I look forward to being on here and getting to talk with some of you.
