1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
-Not new to chickens. I’ve grew up with them off and on. First started our own flock when we bought our house 15 years ago!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- Currently I have 18 hens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
- I have Production Blues,
Ameraucana, Easter Eggers and Buff Brahmas.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- I love just watching them run around the yard.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
-Hunting is one of our biggest hobbies. Fishing/anything outdoors.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
-I have been married almost 15 years. I have 2 wonderful boys. We have 3 dogs, Alice, Goliath and Drake. An outside cat named Honda (I call her Critter) and 2 goats. I have been a Vet Assistant since 2015.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- I have come across the page a few times over the years when I would have a random chicken question or thought.
