Hello From NW Washington State

Hello! I live in the Puget Sound area of Washington State with my wife, our nine year old son, and our six chickens. My wife's family had chickens and ducks growing up, I lived on a farm as a kid with goats and pigs for a few years, but we have only had chickens ourselves for about a year. We have two each: Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, and Ameraucanas, respectively named Apple, Omelette, Lemon, Ginger, Dumpling, and Little.

In addition to our chickens we enjoy gardening, camping, hiking, reading and sustainable living. I am a musician and my wife is a cosmetologist by trade, but we dream of owning a self-sufficient farm.
