Hello,
My name is Rob, I've been reading these threads for about 2 months and it heavily influenced my confidence into purchasing my firs set of chicks :). I'm about a week into being a new owner. I purchased 3 chickens from Meyer hatchery in Ohio, I unfortunately had one become ill and pass away this morning. i live in NY. My current hobbies and interests are technology, agriculture and fashion design. I'm 27 years old I work for Apple retail and I have 2 dogs and fish.

Sorry to hear about your little one! I hope the other two do great for you! Congratulations on being a new chicken parent -I hope you have as much fun with them as we all do. Oh, and if you want to join our "Raising Baby Chick-along" thread, there are some super nice folks who are great at answering questions, or just sharing pictures and stories!
