Welcome to BYC. The cold temps can certainly put a stop to egg laying as well as many other things. Stress from temps, overcrowding, pecking order issues, disease, parasites, change in feed, different habitat or moving to a new place, picking/pecking etc...can all contribute to egg production loss.
