Hello to all of you! So nice to be here!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, we're new to chickens, we brought 12 home July 8
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Sadly we have 11 now, our dog got one this morning

(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Golden Comets and 9 Buff Orpingtons
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google search for something about coops
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We garden, enjoy spending any free time at Middle Bass Island, and I think we can say that our chickens are our hobby now!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 2 beautiful daughters (3 and 6 months), 2 dogs, and a cat. I'm a social worker and DH is a parole officer and we're both OSU fans/alumni

Sounds like you are quite busy!!! I am new to chickens too, brought 5 girls home in May ( they were 5 and 3 weeks old) and I am so happy I did. Waiting for the girls to lay eggs.....
