Greetings,
I have three hens, one aracana, one light Bramante, and one Wyandot. I’ve had chickens on and off for over 30 years. I’ve kept them in barns and now a small coop by the house.
our coop has a metal floor to keep critters from burrowing under. Here is the problem. Something some how got in and took my Golden Comet and now the other three won’t go in to roost or lay. Each night we have to go out and take them down from the trailer ramp they are roosting on and put them in the coop. They only go in for food and water. They are pasture raised and are free to roam at will.
how can we get them to start laying and roosting in their coop?
thank you for your ideas.
