Hi all, I'm glad I found this forum, as I am planning on getting chickens for eggs soon!

Any tips on keeping them will be appreciated.

from a fellow Buckeye. So glad you joined. If you supply proper feed, fresh water, heat lamp, room to run and grow that's protected from predators and lots a TLC, you will be fine. Just remember, chickens are addicting.

We live about 33 minutes from Steubenville, it is the biggest city in the area...

We're pretty rural.
