Hello there everyone. Im new to incubators/hatching but I have owned chickens my whole life.
As of right now I dont have any due to moving into town a few years ago. but now im back to where i want to be and ready to have my chick's back
Im trying to incubate for the first time so i will soon have red cross's and easter eggers.
I found this site when i was looking up how to lower humidity in an incubator when its to high. its help alot but im still looking for help.
I enjoy anything that has to deal with farming and animals. i enjoy it all. rescuing is a big thing for me too.i have rescued alot of animals.
My family as always said im a crazy animal lover and they support all i have done. I own two dogs as of right now. but rescue/holding more then just dogs...
now im off to see if i can find out more info on humidity from other chick lovers.

and Welcome To BYC! Double check your hygrometer to be sure you are getting an accurate reading. Check what it is in the room where you are incubating, if the humidity is high in the room, you may have to put a dehumidifier in the room to lower it (I sometimes have to do this in the spring especially.) Consider opening more vents in the incubator if you need to. How full do you have the incubator, is it still or forced air?
