Hello from Oklahom...North Texas

Hi everybody! I am moving to North Texas from Oklahoma next month and shortly thereafter should be receiving my very own day old chicks from a local hatchery. I am currently working on coop design because I want to make sure that my babies have nice raccoon-proof digs. I'll be making a post about that in the near future so I can get some insight from people who have a bit more experience than I do.

For now, I live in Oklahoma City and am counting down the days to the move. I have a husband, a toddler, a dog, and (at the moment) an unhealthy obsession with poultry. I'm excited to get to participate here and look forward to learning more about the fine art of raising chickens.
