I am a new chicken momma as of about 3days ago and had been researching for weeks and weeks before they came home when I came across this AMAZING! site. Everything has definitely been an adjustment btw them and all my other furry kiddos but I love them. Thanks for everyone's help so far and I'm sure much more to come 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Started with 10 but shipping really took a toll on two of my girls who are watching over my farm in Heaven now. Currently 8 beautiful healthy chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter Eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I can't wait for fresh eggs! But I love the idea of having my own flock and making them part of my furry/and now feathery family
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I was a professional photographer for 11yrs that is now a hobby; I love to sing and hanging out with my fur family
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have two dogs, Faith my German Shepherd and Einstein my Chihuahua. I have 3 adult cats (Snowman, Tiger and Honey Kitty), currently six 5wk old kittens ( Sky Dancer, Hiro, Clover Honey, Gabriella, Steele and Valkyrie) and now to add my eight chicks and my best guy friend stays on my family's land too. What's even better is that all my furry kids ADORE my new baby chicks. Everyone is fascinated and acting respectful and sweet.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
This site has been sooo helpful and a plethora of knowledge! I just had to join
