Hi, I'm Cori. A few weeks ago, I bought 15 chickens; 5 Golden sex links, and 10 mostly Ameracauna straight run chicks. So far, it's going pretty good. I did lose one chick, (either from an obstruction or a tumor) but everyone else is doing well. They are at 4 weeks now, starting to see some pecking order being established, and they are fighting over who gets to roost on top of the feeder. Ima put in a roosting bar this weekend for them. We've started on the chicken tractor, which is an 8x16 walk-in with a 4x8 enclosed coop. Along with chickens, we are working hard to get this homestead up and running. We started a garden, planted over 50 fruit trees, and are working to clear the rest of the property. Here's a few pics of the coop in progress!
