I can't believe it's taken me this long to join this forum. I've tried asking my questions on Facebook with mixed results....may as well add another platform to the list haha. 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first flock of hens in spring, 2021. 5 Australorps and 5 Easter Eggers. Of those, I'm down to 4 Australorps and 3 EEs... We live rural, so have been trying to keep the coyotes at bay.
They can't freerange all day anymore - only in the afternoon.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
21 chickens and 4 turkeys
(3) What breeds do you have?
Australorps, EEs, Olive Eggers, BCMs, Leghorn, Legbars and Long Crowers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They bring me peace. I love caring for them...and getting eggs makes it feel like Christmas every day lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Painting, playing video games, Cricut-ing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We built our house on nearly 9 acres in 2020...and are living the dream! We have a son that will be starting 6th grade in a few weeks... My husband and I both work from home (and have for 2 years now)....we love it! I work for the state and my husband works in the scheduling department of a countertop company.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Oh boy. Every google search for "impacted crop, sour crop, Coccidiosis, respriratory infection, etc" has landed me here haha. May as well join the crowd!
