Hi ! my name is janice..got my permit and need some suggestions on coop buildng since it does get cold here...and could someon
e send me some pictures of their coops... how to keep them from freezing in the winter, feed etc. much appreciated !..

Hi and

Some people use a heater to put their water on, so it doesn't freeze up, and I imagine if you had a lot of bedding it would be pretty cosy in there.
Good luck, I hope you can find something. I live in Australia, so I've never had to deal with freezing coops, I wouldn't know anything

Hello and welcome to BYC. I am also here in Omaha. You can check out my member page and see the coop i built. You should research deep litter method it works well here to keep coop warmer in winter. Jim
