Good day everyone,

My wife and I recently bought a small farm (5.15 acres) and have ordered a few chickens. We have 3 "redy-to-lay" Red Sex Link chickens coming as well as 12 day-old Rhode Island Reds. We also have an incubator that came with the farm and I did a bit of repairs to it (new cord, etc). The farmer down the road is trying to help bring back a Canadian heritage breed (the Albertans which are currently called a Chanteclair, but arn't true Chanteclairs, which are from Quebec) and we're helping him hatch them, as he doesn't have an incubator. I'm building a brooder as well, but so far it's too darn big to put anywhere convienient, so it might go out into the chicken coop that is already on the property.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. This looks like a great site and I love all the coop/incubator/brooder plans and pictures.

Thanks.
