Hello all! So glad to have stumbled upon this site! I have worked on an educational farm for years and now that they have shut down I decided I needed some chickens of my own since I missed them so much!
I have 4 red sex-link laying hens (18-20 weeks old) arriving on Wednesday and I spent today picking up all the food, oyster shell, shavings and accessories I will need for my coop!
I figure start small and grow from there!
Just a little worried since its so cold here still and we are getting flurries as we speak! What happened to Spring!?!
Can't wait to get into the site and check out all the info!
