Hello all!
I am a small animal veterinarian outside of Portland, Oregon and recently got into backyard chickens instead of buying my farm fresh eggs from someone else. :) I have treated some chickens in the past, but this is my first time owning them. I have an Easter Egger, Rhode Island Red, and a Australorp. City limits only allow 3 chickens.
My plan is to feed organic, but do fecal testing and medicate when needed, so not fully organic, but healthier birds for it.

Welcome to BYC! Enjoy your time here, feel free to post any pictures you might have of your girls, we'd love to see them :)
