Hello!
I'm a novice chicken grower in Oregon. I've been feeling my way through it for about two years. I've gotten so much information from BYC through regular Google researching I decided it was just time to join.
I have 7 hens and one Rhode Island Red. I have a little De Uccler, a little hen I can remember the breed---but she's no bigger than a football. I have two brown hens, and two Grey's. Again, I can't remember the breed, but they're die-hard egg layers.
I've decided to try to hatch my own eggs since in two years none of them want to brood.
