Hi there. I am new to chickens and am trying to figure out if one of my two olive eggers is a rooster. I will post pics later. In the meantime, if one had, by about 6 weeks old, deeveloped a little comb and wattles, is this a definitive indicator that I have a cockerel?

The development of a comb and wattles at 6 weeks old is not indicative of a cockerel. Bright red coloring would be.

Yes even pullets can develop combs and wattles at a very young age, it's the combs and wattles that turn bright red early that usually indicates cockerel.
