Hi folks, I have been a member for about 10 months -- mostly just reading posts. But posted for the first time today about a (possibly moulting) possibly distressed Welsummer. I currently have 4 hens/pullets and finally have a pretty good system in place for managing my hens.
My wife and daughter help with the girls. I have an Americauna pullet that isn't laying; a barred rock that has only missed laying about 7 times since she started laying in early July; a Welsummer, and a Black Copper Marans. Can't wait till easter. We shouldn't even need to color eggs, given that mix of hens.
