I discovered this awesome resource after purchasing the book Backyard Chickens Guide To Coops and Tractors. My wife and I live on 4 acres in Newberg, Oregon (about 15 miles west of Portland). We have always had big gardens and wanted to add to our sustainability a bit more so we have decided to take on Chickens. I really look forward to being a member of your great resource here and am sure I'll have a ton of questions. If anyone has any "words of wisdom" for a first time chicken keeper please feel free to send them my way, I appreciate the input.
