My name is Christina and am part of the group Oshkosh Backyard Chickens. We are currently working on public education and are doing a petition drive. The Board of Health will be discussing backyard chickens at its next meeting. Our goal is to get the municipal code changed to allow for 4 layings hens ~ no roosters or butchering. Similar to many other communities in Wisconsin.

I look forward to connecting with many of you through this site to gain knowledge and share ideas regarding raising backyard chickens.

Hello Christina and welcome. Wish you luck with your endeavor. Since Madison is allowed 4 hens you should be able to get this in your area. I live in a rural township of Northern Minnesota and have no restrictions. Again. welcome to the forum.
