Hello from PA

Hi all,

I've been stalking BYC for at least 4 years. I've finished decided to join.

I only have 2 old chickens left from my original flock of 6. They stopped laying a while ago, and are now just pets.

This year, I am looking to expand my flock, hopefully starting with Muscovy ducks and a few random chickens.

Howdy from Maryland! I was thinking of getting some Muscovy's for meat in the spring from Freedom Ranger Hatchery up there in PA. Have you ever used that hatchery?

In any case, good luck enlarging your flock next spring!

No, I haven't. I have actually been trying to find a place to get only 6 muscovy ducklings or hatching eggs because I don't have enough room for 15+ birds.

PM me in the springtime. I don't want 15 Muscovy's either and was going to possibly look for someone to share a Muscovy and red Freedom Ranger order with me. I was thinking of driving up to pick them up so I can share an order with PA and MD folks.

They sell in groups of 6 at a decent price... but I don't know if I want all white.
