We live in Pennsylvania and have two sets of chickens! The first batch we got 4 weeks ago at Tractor supply- a sweet leghorn and 3 golden comets. We were told they are all Pullets. Hoping so bec they have girly names. Haha. It is our first time and sadly 2 leghorns died (we had 3 leghorns at first) the first day. So since these 4 are doing great, late Saturday of last week we heard someone had barred rocks. Got 4 of those but I think we may have some roos! I guess time will tell. So 2 brooders going, I am working on a coop, and we are in love!
