Hi all!

New potential chicken-owner in the coop!

Hubby and I have been looking into getting a small backyard flock for our half acre yard. We're looking forward to fresh eggs and the silly antics of the chickies. Looking for any and all beginner advice that you all are willing to give!

The only beginner advice that I can give is to READ, READ, READ all that you can here on the forum!

There's so much info here that you can't possibly remember it all at once, so keep reading!

While reading, pick out the tidbits that work best for your particular situation and go with it.
