Hi Everyone,
Checking in as a complete newbie to keeping chickens. I've read the Litt's "A Chicken in Every Yard" and am making my way through Patricia Foreman's "City Chicks." Planning on constructing a backyard coop for around 4 birds sometime this fall. I expect I'll be here regularly asking which way is up.

A bit of advice-make your coop twice as big as you think you need it, so you don't need to expand it as soon!
