I do recommend separating them for the health of the chicks.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Besides if you keep chicks and ducklings together, the ducks will teach them how to remain on the floor and yet manage to get poo on the ceiling. Not a good trait to learn.

Thank u !! Yeah I separated them lol, I also noticed the chicks all piling up on my pekin duckling and he looked like he was panting . After separating them he is now back to normal .
