Do you mean they are in the coop at nite and just not using roosts - then I would make sure roosts are not too high for them
Or do you mean sleeping in the run….in that case I would place them in the coop at nite til they get used to it.

Yes I mean they are in the coop at night but seemed to not be using the roosts...I watched a couple of the Light Sussex get on them yesterday and so the height seems to be okay - I guess it's a matter of training them until they get the hang of it.
I've bought home the Welsummers and on a whim, picked up 3 Barnevelders today! One of the Barnies is having trouble holding her own weight up though and I am now a bit concerned she might have something wrong with her. Will isolate her for the time being. I rang the guy I bought her from and he thinks he could have knocked her head a bit when catching her! The mama bear in me is a bit annoyed to say the least!!
