Hello,

I am so glad I found the BYC website. There is a lot of good information here!

My husband and I are interested in keeping a small flock of chickens. We do not own any chickens yet; we are still in the investigative stage. We want to make sure that owning chickens would be right for us. We live in a rural area that allows chickens, but we do not know yet how many chickens our ordinance allows. We will be looking into that this week.

We love animals, and are pet parents to five cats and three cockatiels.
