I too was inspired by A Chicken in Every Yard. Great Book! I picked out 10 chicks who are now just a week and a half old. They are so fun. I would also recommend getting the book Chicken and Egg. Great egg recipes and interesting notes from another backyard flock owner with 3 chicks.
