Thanks to some Herculean efforts of those whom I've recently learned are on this site, our county now allows backyard chickens (in some places, which thankfully includes ours). We (mostly my hubby) are in the process of building our new coop and hopefully the 5 chicks arrive next week. I've learned a ton from this site, and look forward to learning even more!
