Welcome. I love Montreal. I worked in Montreal for two years and drove from NH, where I lived to Montreal and stayed 2-3 days per week. Loved my Tim Horton's coffee, and the fact that you literally cannot eat at a "bad" restaurant in Montreal. I so enjoyed my co-workers - who by the way, knew more about American politics and history than I did, and loved the respect they had for me. While I learned some Canadian French - they always switched to English when I was in the office. I really respect residents of Quebec.Hello everyone. I am new to this site. I have a small flock of 20 chickens (Marans, Ameraucana, Legbar, Wyandotte) in Central Quebec and I am looking forward to expanding my chicken family. I am very happy to be able to have access to so much information from you all. Thanks in advance!![]()

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!Hi! Im a newbie to this site as well, and am in l'Anaudière Quebec.
We've completed building a 11 by 12 well insulated lean to ventilated Bird Coop, with plenty of windows on a Mountain top acreage where Gazillions of Grasshoppers and Greenery are abundant for the forage and am looking around for reputable Hatchery's that breed Ancona Ducks / Prairie Chanterelles / Icelandics. .
While if anyone could recommend such a place in Quebec, Ontario, the maritimes or not too far away in the U.S? it would really be appreciated.
