Hello from Queensland, Australia!

Hi all, I'm Ticket and I'm from QLD, Aus =) My partner and I are both heavily into permaculture, sustainability, environmentalism, and gardening. Me, an animal lover, activist, artist and bartender (haha, we all make a living, but I do love it!), and her a green-powered, eco-minded activist and writer.

We've recently taken the next step in our plans of building a functional, ethical and sustainable living space by adopting three lovely little white Orpington chicks (now all 4-5 weeks old). I've been lurking on the forum a fair bit in these last several weeks, soaking up all the information I can. Now I'm moved on to joining the community.

There's so much to learn, and so much to love! So, welcome me to BYC =D
