Hello and welcome from Sheffield south yorkshire !! Sunny today but possibly a fluke :)
Also using DE but also wage war on them with poultry shield solution and smite from time to time in case they build up a resistance.

That's the great thing about DE...they can't build up a resistance to it. It works by abrading their outer shell with a natural silicate. The mite then dehydrates and dies in a few hours...it can't build resistance because it's basically being sand papered to death! Tee hee hee!

I do still back it up on occasion with Poultry Shield or Total Mite Kill but I think that's more about my paranoia than anything!
