Hello from Rural NJ

Hi there! I just joined up, and am posting from New Jersey's West Coast--rural Delaware Township. When we moved here a year ago we looked around at our neighbors' goat, horse and llama farms and decided to keep up with the Joneses and get some chickens of our own! Now we have six--three Barred Rocks and three Easter Eggers, and we love taking them out in their tractor in the evenings and the excuse it gives us to just hang out outside.

Other hobbies: writing, reading, kayaking, travel, and baking bread.

Hello, Neighbor, welcome to BYC and Delaware Twshp. Be on guard here - lots of predators including: fox, coyote, mink, weasel, raccoon, and all sort of raptors. There is even the occasional bobcat in the area.
