    Hello All!
I've been fascinated with the idea of raising chickens in my yard, albeit very small and urban. Though I've been scoping out the forums here on BYC for close to two years now, I've finally decided to get some chickens of my own! The kids and I picked out two buff orpingtons this afternoon, we're picking the girls up tomorrow (3/23). I'd appreciate any advice, I'm totally new to this. Thanks!

WAY TO GO!!!! good for you. You're going to be happy with your choice to get chickens. They are very rewarding and the easiest maintenance pet there is.
