Hi everyone! I've been lurking on these forums for quite a while and finally decided to join. Very excited to be part of the BYC community!

I adopted 3 chickens from a friend and quickly became obsessed with them (though I often felt I had no idea what I was doing). I've loved keeping chickens!

Sadly, I recently lost two of them (the second one was lost this morning), leaving one on her own. I decided to join so I could get more help when I have chicken questions AND to learn more about growing my flock -- which I absolutely want to do and SOON.

Here's a photo of the 3 of them from earlier this year -- from left to right: Frida Lay, Meryl Peep, and Agatha Chrispeep

How did you lose them? Do you need a better coop?

Raccoons are bad around here and very smart
