I got Mo and Clo (Pekins) from the Tractor Supply in Watsonville (it’s fairly new - probably less than 2 years since they opened), and I got Sass, Sweets, & Smalls (Runners) from Scotts Valley Feed (they’re great!). I don’t think I’ve been to the feed store in Felton, but I LOVE the one just up a ways in Ben Lomond! I think it’s called Mountain Feed & Farm Supply. Feed store stuff, plus a ton of gardening stuff and a good sized nursery (heaven!). We also have a feed store in Corralitos that I frequent a lot as well, but they don’t carry the duck feed I prefer.
Yes, Smalls had two of her eggs in the mix as well! They were the first two to hatch, and I kept track of at least one that’s for sure hers (the one with the eye stripe) but not sure about the other. The rest are Sweets’, who is starting to become very interested in what’s going on in the nursery.
